We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis within primary schools across Southport, Ormskirk and surrounding areas.
There is a particular demand for support within EYFS and KS1 settings, with schools looking for committed and adaptable individuals to support pupils with additional needs.
The role involves:
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom
• Supporting children with autism, SEMH or behavioural needs
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
• Helping to create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting both academic and social development
We are looking for:
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN
• A patient, adaptable and caring approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Pay:
£14.30 to £15.50 per hour
These roles are available for immediate start as well as September positions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
