Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping hotel operations running smoothly by:
10. Providing engineering support across the hotel to enable a 24/7 operation
11. Prioritising and responding to maintenance jobs alongside Housekeeping and Engineering coordination teams
12. Acting as a rapid response resource for faults and emergency situations
13. Supporting engineering projects and installations
14. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
15. Completing guest room checks, repairs, and touch-ups to meet service standards
16. Identifying complex technical issues and escalating to senior engineering leadership when required
17. Supporting floor teams with fault diagnosis to minimise disruption
What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Maintenance engineer within this environment, you’ll ideally have:
18. Previous experience in a hotel or similar hospitality setting
19. ONC / HNC or City & Guilds qualifications in Building Services
20. Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering qualifications
21. Experience with building services and control systems
22. Knowledge of BMS, heating, air conditioning, and general maintenance disciplines
23. Car driver is essential
