Help Shape the Future of Public Health Education and Research
The University of Lincoln is seeking an Associate Professor to join the School of Health and Care Sciences, and drive forward the development and delivery of a recently validated Masters in Public Health. The large interdisciplinary School is extremely successful in delivering education across a range of registered health and care professions (nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, social work, paramedics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy and diagnostic radiography), with this new Masters in Public Health (MPH) being the most recent addition to the growing portfolio.
About The Role
You will work with a team of experienced academics from across the School and wider university, providing educational leadership, and will be the inaugural programme lead for the MPH programme. You will be connected into our strong partnerships across the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System, in particular with the Public Health Team, the Lincoln Medical School and other schools delivering health-related programmes and research. Notably we work closely with the Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH), the country's first integrated and multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to rural and coastal health research and this is reflected in this unique focus of the Masters in Public Health.
Working within a growing, supportive team, you’ll have access to excellent teaching and research facilities and the opportunity to make a significant impact on student experience and the future of public health education. As an Associate Professor you will also have a strong leadership role in public health research and will engage in research to produce high quality outcomes and outputs, provide leadership in the development of research initiatives, and contribute to research-related teaching and learning through delivery and curriculum innovation.
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering research and teaching around public health producing work-ready graduates at Masters level.
