Reception Class Teacher (Fixed-term, January – September 2026)

Bradford Grammar Junior School is seeking a warm, dynamic and inspiring Reception Class Teacher to join our dedicated Junior School team from January to September 2026 on a fixed-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the learning and pastoral care of our Reception class in a welcoming, purposeful and forward-thinking environment. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to take on the role of EYFS Lead, with strategic oversight of provision across the Early Years and an additional management allowance.
The successful candidate will:
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework.
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and continuous provision to meet the needs of every child.
* Build warm, supportive relationships with children and their families.
* Work collaboratively as part of a collegial Junior School team.
* (If appointed as EYFS Lead) provide professional guidance, contribute to whole-school strategy, and ensure high standards of practice across the EYFS.
We welcome applications from excellent EYFS practitioners looking to build further experience in Reception, as well as those ready to take on leadership responsibility.
