About the School
An excellent 11–18 school in Reading is seeking a motivated and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join their Technology Faculty from January 2026. About the Role
This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design or Resistant Materials. Lessons encourage creativity, analytical thinking, and practical skill development. You will guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, mentoring them to produce imaginative and technically proficient projects.
The department features CAD/CAM suites, 3D printers, and fully equipped workshops supported by two technicians. Staff enjoy collaborative planning sessions and opportunities to lead enrichment clubs such as robotics and eco-design challenges.

Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE and degree in DT, Engineering, or Product Design
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level desirable
• Strong technical and creative skills
