At Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, we are looking for skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team in Grimsby and surrounding areas of Immingham and Lincoln. You will support customers across the region, diagnosing and rectifying faults, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing our full range of products from small pallet trucks to automated trucks.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance and service work at customer sites.
* Use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
* Work autonomously while collaborating with your team.
Qualifications
* Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer (e.g., forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or similar).
* Background in plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
* Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Hydraulics.
* NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification preferred but not essential.
* Comfortable using IT equipment; strong computer skills are essential.
* Full UK driving licence (required for Field and Resident Engineers).
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
