As an Accounts Manager at our esteemed accountancy practice, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial operations for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, providing strategic financial advice, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: You will be the primary point of contact for a range of clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support clients' business objectives.
* Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with tax laws.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Advisory Services: Provide strategic financial advice to clients, helping them to optimize their financial performance and achieve their business goals.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Professional Qualification: You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice, with a proven track record in managing client accounts.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
