We are now looking for an exceptional Plant Area Manager to build on this success and lead our knowledgeable team to even greater heights.
As Plant Area manager, you will be the driving force behind our thriving plant department. You will combine horticultural expertise, commercial awareness, and inspirational leadership to ensure our plant area continues to set the benchmark for excellence.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where enthusiasm, positivity, and encouragement are just as important as plant knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, inspire, and motivate a knowledgeable plant team
* Foster a positive, encouraging culture where individuals thrive
* Provide coaching, training, and development to help the team achieve greatness
* Lead by example with energy, professionalism, and pride
Plant Quality & Standards
* Maintain exceptional plant health, care, and presentation
* Ensure high standards of merchandising and seasonal displays
* Deliver innovative and inspirational retail experiences
* Uphold and exceed award‑winning standards
Commercial Performance
* Drive sales growth and profitability within the plant area
* Monitor stock control, ordering, and waste management
* Analyse performance data and respond proactively
* Work closely with suppliers to secure high‑quality stock
Customer Experience
* Create a welcoming, inspiring environment for all customers
* Share horticultural knowledge with confidence and passion
* Ensure outstanding service that builds loyalty and reputation
