A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic apprentice to join East Suffolk Council’s Human Resources and Communities teams as an Organisational Development Apprentice. This one-off opportunity will give you the chance to work within our friendly teams – working on all things learning and development, wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion. Your role Your duties will be varied and will involve providing administrative support to both the newly formed OD and Wellbeing team and the Communities team with a particular focus on the extensive work we’re doing on the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. This will include maintaining and monitoring our action plans ensuring they are kept up to date and aligned with ESC’s objectives, arranging and attending meetings and focus groups, and supporting the administration of our annual training programmes. You will also get the opportunity to work on our digital learning platform and support the management of information on our intranet and website. You will need: You will be a first point of contact for the OD and Wellbeing team and a key contact for our work on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, so you need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT skills and a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 -9 (or equivalent). No previous administrative experience is required, as full training will be provided. Apprenticeship open evening!
