ABOUT THE ROLE
The Host at Kerridge's Bar & Grill plays a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. This role is responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and guiding them to their tables while ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. The Host will also maintain an organized waiting area and communicate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during service.
ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and remain composed under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Luxury hospitality experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
Good level of written and spoken English
Flexibility to work varied hours
Takes pride in own professional grooming
Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Pride and attention to detail in your work
Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
Knowledge of reservation management systems and experience with guest management software.
