About the Firm
We are a well-established, friendly high street law firm with a strong reputation for providing practical and compassionate legal advice to our local community. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Newly Qualified (NQ) Private Client Solicitor to join our team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ Solicitor looking to build a career in private client work. You will work closely on a one-to-one basis with an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor, gaining valuable hands-on experience across a range of private client matters.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with and gradually managing your own caseload
involving:
* Drafting Wills and related testamentary documents
* Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
* Assisting with Court of Protection (COP) matters
* Supporting the Senior Solicitor with general private client work and client meetings
* Maintaining client files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
* Knowledge of Private Client matters
* Demonstrate strong drafting skills and attention to detail
* Possess excellent client care and communication skills
* Be organised, proactive and eager to develop within a supportive environment
* Be comfortable working full-time from the office
