Job Title: MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) Permanent Role
Location: Bromley, Greater London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London Pay Scale) Dependent on experience
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a thriving and supportive secondary school in the Bromley area from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideally suited to an enthusiastic educator with the ability to teach French and/or Spanish to Key Stages 3 and 4. Ability to teach KS5 is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience).
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that inspires and challenges students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and school events.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and professional conduct.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish.
* Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school setting (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply).
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
