Key Account Manager – Scotland & North of England

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who has solid experience dealing with key customers face to face, generating profit from existing customer relationships and who is commercially savvy in creating value led deals for their customers.
You will inherit an already well-established patch of around 35 key customers where you will be actively involved with meeting your customers and driving growth.
This role is about driving profit through existing business relationships and adding value to your customer base.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, who comes from an extremely strong commercial background, you will learn a lot just being part of the team and working alongside someone like this. They invest in people and will be there for as much or as little support as you need. Their management style is all about giving you the autonomy and trust to make commercial decisions on your judgment and supporting you on your journey through the business.
Field based – work from home and meet customers on patch

What You’ll Do
8. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction
9. Build strategic relationships to align with customer goals and deliver tailored solutions
10. Conduct quarterly face-to-face meetings and regular business reviews
11. Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and profitability
12. Monitor pipeline, analyze performance, and identify improvement opportunities
13. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maximize value for customers

14. Proven experience managing key accounts and budgets
15. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market trends
16. Ability to work independently and make sound commercial decisions
17. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
18. Strategic thinker with a focus on delivering results

23. Experience in either electronics or an industrial setting.
24. Ideally living in the North East and willing to commute to Cumbria, Scotland and North Yorkshire.
