Compliance & Risk Team Manager – Product Certification
UK/EU - homebased with some travel required

About the role
Our Compliance and Risk (C&R) team within Regulatory Services is looking for a Compliance and Risk Team Manager to lead and manage all aspects in compliance and risk in Product Certification.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage all aspects of the Compliance and Risk Team -Product Certification
2. Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of Compliance and Risk Management for Product Certification
3. Analyse data and monitor KPIs relating to product certification and contribute to dashboards and performance reports
4. Communicate data to senior managers and technical leads to inform decisions and remedial actions such as expired certificates/certificates coming up to expiry
5. Be responsible for the product certification internal audit programme, ensuring that all aspects of the internal audit programme are delivered in accordance with the plan
6. In partnership with the Product Certification Operations team facilitate the effective management of the Product Certification Operations and Compliance meeting
7. Ensure full support for the delivery of the internal audit programme for Product Certification
8. Lead internal audits and the management of any nonconformity and conduct effectiveness reviews
9. Provide expertise on compliance and risk activities in external audits and presentations to accreditation bodies as appropriate
10. Participate in the C&R Senior Management Team and wider GRC leadership meetings as appropriate
11. Work strategically to drive continuous quality improvement in Product Certification
To be successful in the role, you will have:
12. Degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experience
13. Extensive work experience in a relevant sector e.g. regulation, product development, certification
14. A high level of knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and awareness in the field of product certification
15. Extensive awareness of risk management processes and standards
16. Demonstrable communication skills with an ability to work productively with a wide range of stakeholders
