Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia, employing behaviour management techniques
* Support patients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
* Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and physical well-being
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
* Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation

Qualifications
* Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings
* Knowledge of patient care practices including Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, and senior care
* Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous
* Valid driving licence for transportation duties
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with clients of all ages
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
* Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
