Our client, a well-regarded educational institution in Maidstone, Kent, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing individualised support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, enabling them to thrive in their learning environment. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs. You will be responsible for facilitating small group activities, providing one-to-one support, and adapting learning materials to ensure accessibility for all learners. Your patience, empathy, and ability to build positive relationships with students will be essential in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience in supporting children with special educational needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, or behavioural difficulties. A strong understanding of differentiation strategies and the ability to use assistive technology will be highly advantageous. You should be proactive, flexible, and able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student. In return for your commitment and expertise, our client offers a competitive salary range of £90 to £120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
