Job Title: Locum Paediatric Dietitian – UHNM Banding: Band 7 Location: University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, based on NHS Band 7 pay scale Working Hours: Full-time (minimum 3 days per week) Contract Length: Short-term Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Paediatric Dietitian to join the team at University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM). This role involves covering general outpatient clinics as well as gastroenterology outpatient services. The successful candidate will be confident in managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality nutritional care in a busy clinical setting. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Provide expert nutritional assessment and management for paediatric patients in general and gastroenterology outpatient clinics. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans. • Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary interventions accordingly. • Educate patients, families, and staff on nutritional strategies and dietary management. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards. Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this role, you must have: • A recognised degree in Dietetics. • HCPC registration. • Proven experience in paediatric dietetics, particularly in outpatient and gastroenterology settings. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
