Gateman / Site Access Supervisor (Freelance)
Location: Catterick, North Yorkshire
Contract Duration: January 2026 – December 2027
Rate: £195 - £200 Day
Engagement: Freelance (CIS)
Security Clearance: BPSS or SC (active – essential)
We are recruiting experienced Gatemen / Site Access Supervisors for a long-term, high-security construction project based in Catterick.
This is a senior access-control position, suited to individuals with proven supervisory experience on live construction sites, ideally within regulated or security-sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and controlling all site access and egress points
Verifying identification, permits, and authorisation for personnel and vehicles
Supervising and coordinating on-site security operatives
Acting as the first point of contact for deliveries, visitors, and subcontractors
Maintaining accurate access logs, incident reports, and daily records
Liaising closely with site management and security teams
Enforcing site security protocols and health & safety procedures
Essential Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card
SSSTS
Active BPSS or SC Security Clearance (mandatory)
Proven experience in a Gateman, Site Access, or Construction Security role
Strong communication and organisational skills
