About the Role
Kitchen Porters are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen before, during, and after all prep and service periods. They should be proactive with their job list and communicate effectively with both front and back of house teams.

* 40 Hours Per Week
* £12 Per Hour
* 5 Days out of 7 per week

Main Responsibilities
* Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen
* Conduct visual hazard checks of the kitchen
* Clean equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware during and after service
* Operate the dishwasher
* Dispose of rubbish correctly
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout and after service
* Use correct cleaning chemicals following COSHH guidelines
* Wear appropriate PPE, including full uniform, safety shoes, and blue trousers & tops
* Store and remove unused trolleys and grates properly
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness to safeguard standards
* Report broken or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the supervisor
* Clock out and sign off with the senior manager of your department

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
* Experience managing cellars in high-volume conference, banqueting, and special events
* National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of recruiting, training, managing, and motivating staff
* Experience with ordering, delivery processes, and stocktaking
* Experience managing EPOS systems
* Ability to build professional relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and guests
* Experience managing diverse teams
Desirable:
* Experience in sports, leisure, or stadia environments
* Knowledge or qualifications in wine, food pairing, and mixology
