Salary: Up to £49,000, based on your experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our electrical engineering standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Defining site standards and technical requirements for electrical engineering.
* Conducting reviews and assessments of design proposals.
* Producing comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
* Engaging in problem-solving for engineering issues related to your expertise.
* Supporting the site engineering team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Your Skills and Experiences
Essential:
* Experience in electrical, control, or instrumentation engineering roles.
* Proven electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment, with knowledge of applicable standards for electrical installations.
Desirable:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (e.g., HND with relevant experience).
* Familiarity with CG Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2022.
* Certification in CG 2396 Design, Erection, and Verification of Electrical Installations.
* Membership in a relevant engineering institute (e.g., IET).
