Job Description
* Supplier Management:
o Identify and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
o Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
o Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
* Purchasing Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
o Manage the end-to-end procurement process
o Collaborate with local business units to ensure alignment of procurement with operational requirements.
* Contract Management:
o Draft and review contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organisation.
o Monitor contract compliance and resolve any issues related to contract terms.
o Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal policy standards.
* Cost Control and Budgeting:
o Track and manage procurement expenditures to ensure they stay within budget.
o Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality.
o Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
* Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and supplier performance
o Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and performance reviews.
