Position Overview
FDM Group, a global business and technology consultancy, is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our software development team in London. This is a 12-month contract role with potential for extension, offering a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft .NET framework.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
3. Develop interfaces and workflows for the Defence Incident Management Database (DIMDb).
4. Ensure system changes are correctly integrated and follow established processes.
5. Perform system testing and generate outputs using SQL coding.
6. Respond to system faults and vulnerabilities, liaising with stakeholders for solutions.
7. Provide technical advice in meetings, forums, and conferences.
8. Engage with stakeholders to understand and establish business needs.
Requirements
1. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in .NET development.
2. Proficiency in report generation for business users.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, especially in resolving performance issues.
4. Experience maintaining and deploying .NET applications on Windows servers.
5. Ability to liaise effectively with third-party teams during development.
6. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
7. Eligibility for SC Clearance.
