About the School We are working with a SEND school in Portsmouth, which is designed specifically to meet the needs of neurodiverse children, across Primary and Secondary ages. The school provides a supportive and stimulating environment for both staff and students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. The school caters for a range of needs, with a primary focus on: Autism Anxiety Speech and Language Difficulties Physical needs Sensory needs The Role Deliver high-quality and bespoke teaching to individual needs and small groups of students, up to 8 pupils in a class. Identify and support students across all levels of need. Set realistic targets and maintain high aspirations for every learner. Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans. Implement and maintaing safeguarding protocols and procedures at all times. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience working within SEN settings. Patient, calm, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Ability to develop and implement personalised care plans.
