HGV Technician Needed, in Merseyside
1. Location: Liverpool and Surrounding Areas
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm (flexibility required for occasional weekends)
3. Salary: OTE £42,000+ per annum, plus performance incentives
Our client; a well-established Commercial Main Dealership, is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join their team, supporting a key customer at a fully equipped, high-spec Vehicle Maintenance facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a technically rewarding role, in a customer-facing environment, while working for a company that values its staff and provides excellent rewards and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities of the Mobile HGV Technician:
4. Service, maintain, and repair heavy goods vehicles
5. Conduct routine inspections in line with O Licence requirements
6. Carry out surgery and preventative maintenance work
7. Perform diagnostics and fault-finding
8. Ensure fleet vehicles meet compliance and safety standards
9. Work independently and off-site at customer VMU location
10. Communicate effectively with both customer and internal teams
11. Maintain accurate records of work carried out
What Our Client is Looking For?
12. Solid background as an HGV Technician (mobile experience beneficial)
13. Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
14. Full UK Driving Licence (Class 1 licence preferred)
15. Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach
16. Flexible and customer-focused mindset
