Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of multiple industrial design and build projects across the UK. Reporting directly to senior leadership and working alongside commercial and technical teams, you'll ensure that each scheme is delivered on time, to budget and to the highest standards.
This role is ideal for a technically competent PM who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to play a central role in delivering landmark industrial projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of industrial D&B projects from pre-construction through to handover
Manage project teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders effectively
Develop and monitor programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met
Oversee H&S, quality assurance and site logistics
Collaborate with Design Managers and Commercial teams to resolve technical issues and drive value
Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management
Ensure all works are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager from a Tier 1 or 2 main contracting background, with a strong technical understanding and a track record of delivering industrial or commercial schemes.
Key requirements include:
Proven experience managing D&B projects from £5m+
Strong technical background
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Proficiency in project planning and reporting tools
Commercial awareness and ability to coordinate with QS and Design teams
Flexible and hands-on approach with the ability to travel nationally as needed
