WEC Group Ltd is a multi-award-winning engineering and manufacturing company based in the North West, with over 45 years of success. We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Darwen.

Key Responsibilities
* Quotations & Costing: Create accurate manufacturing cost estimates and detailed quotations from customer drawings and specifications.
* Project Oversight: Monitor project timelines and manage sub-contract support to ensure timely delivery.
* Routing & Materials: Develop labour and material costs and build comprehensive routing information.
* Supplier Coordination: Liaise with sub-contract suppliers as needed to secure project components or services.
* System Input: Enter all relevant data into our internal systems to generate quotations for the sales team.
* Customer Interaction: Track enquiries, respond to customer and end-user queries, and maintain strong client relationships.
* Internal Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure project alignment.
What We're Looking For
* Engineering Background: Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication or multi-disciplinary engineering.
* Sales Acumen: Proven ability in technical sales, account management, or business development.
* Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret RFQs and complex engineering drawings; provide design feedback.
* Communication Skills: Confident in customer-facing technical discussions and capable of promoting WEC's capabilities.
* Leadership Potential: Experience or readiness to lead and develop a team of estimators.
* Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in developing complex quotations and technical proposals.
