PERM ROLE: 0.6 FTE (Equivalent to 3 days a week)
Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting a part-time permanent Games Design Lecturer at an FE Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester.
Job Role - Games Design Lecturer
The successful candidate will be able to teach levels 1-3 and understand BTEC and OCR awarding bodies. Requirements include:
* A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed).
* A good honours degree in a relevant subject or significant industry experience.
* Proficiency in 3DsMax, with understanding of Maya and/or Blender.
* Knowledge of games design software such as Unreal Engine, Adobe products, and experience with Revit / Unity is advantageous.
* Familiarity with the conceptual and design pipeline process for game art and product development.
* A passion for the games industry.
* Ability to use new technologies to engage and inspire students.
* A creative, fun, and student-focused approach to teaching.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, innovative teaching within the digital department.
* Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students.
* Teach Games Design to levels 1-3 learners.
Minimum Requirements
* A UK-recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed).
* Experience in delivering the subject.
* A games-related degree.
* Current DBS or willingness to apply for one.
