AI & Automation Product Lead – London (Hybrid)
I’m working with an exciting financial services client who is looking for an AI & Automation Product Lead to shape, scale, and champion the organisation’s AI capability. This is a strategic, hands‑on role where you’ll define the roadmap, build the operating model, and guide the safe adoption of AI and automation across a regulated financial services environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Setting the vision and roadmap for AI and automation, ensuring the focus stays on high‑value, low‑risk opportunities
* Providing architectural oversight for AI and automation solutions, ensuring patterns, integrations, and data boundaries are safe and scalable
* Establishing and running an AI & Automation Centre of Excellence, creating a structured intake, delivery, and governance model
* Defining reference architectures, reusable templates, and delivery standards for agents, workflows, and automation solutions
* Leading early delivery of AI and automation use cases to demonstrate value and build organisational confidence
* Embedding governance frameworks and guardrails to ensure responsible AI adoption
* Working closely with Information Security, Cyber, and Technology Risk to align controls, approvals, and audit evidence
* Shaping the organisation’s approach to M365 Copilot, including readiness assessments and phased rollout recommendations
* Coordinating with Data Governance, Architecture, and SharePoint migration teams to ensure alignment
* Ensuring smooth transition of delivered solutions into BAU support with clear ownership and documentation
* Producing decision‑ready artefacts for governance forums and senior stakeholders
* Promoting AI and automation capabilities across the business, driving awareness and adoption
* Staying ahead of emerging technologies and fostering a culture of innovation
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Strong understanding of AI solution architecture and modern workplace technologies
* Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Power Apps)
* Experience defining and running product or capability models (roadmaps, backlogs, prioritisation)
* Solid grasp of data access, permissions, and information risk in enterprise environments
* Proven experience in a senior or lead role within financial services
* Hands‑on experience shaping and delivering AI or automation use cases
* Experience working with security, cyber, and risk teams to embed controls and governance
Desirable:
* Knowledge of SharePoint Online information architecture and migration
* Familiarity with ITSM and service transition models
* Understanding of regulatory expectations around technology delivery
* Certifications in Power Platform, M365, security, governance, TOGAF, product management, or leadership
