An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 Health Records Clerical Officers to join our busy team, providing administrative support within Health Records. These permanent positions are well suited to individuals that are looking to gain hands on experience in a busy and thriving, supportive workplace.
Post 1 – 37hrs per week / Mon-Fri 08:30 - 17:00
Post 2 – 37hrs per week / Mon-Fri 12:00 - 20:00
Post 3 - 25hrs per week / Mon-Fri 12:00 - 17:00*

Working Monday to Friday you will primarily be based at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy but depending on needs of the service may be required to provide cover at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
The Health Records Department provides multi-hospital / multi-section comprehensive 24-hour Health Records Service across Fife incorporating Clinical Coding, Information Management, Inpatient Services, Emergency Department, Minor Injuries Unit, Records Libraries, Scanning, Subject Access Requests, Outpatients, Waiting Times, Overseas Visitor Status and NHS Fife Switchboard.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support within the Health Records Department.
* Based primarily at Victoria Hospital with potential cover at Queen Margaret Hospital as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous Admin / Clerical experience preferably in a Health Records department is desirable.
* A knowledge of GDPR and confidentiality is preferred.
Skills and Attributes
* Ability to prioritise and manage day-to-day workload in a busy, fast paced environment.
* Ability to follow instructions clearly and effectively; able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision at times.
* Good organisational and listening skills; flexible approach to working.
* Good level of English language competency and good communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.
