Description
As a Senior Finance Analyst you will drive high-quality financial operations by shaping and enhancing processes that align with internal controls-safeguarding corporate assets and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial systems, data, and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop, review, and enhance processes to ensure high-quality, accurate financial operations by exploring efficient and innovative approaches in response to evolving challenges and stakeholder needs.
* Meet deadlines for financial outputs, using expertise to drive improvements in portfolio and funding-related reporting.
* Implement and monitor internal controls to protect corporate assets and ensure data and system integrity.
* Accurately process transactions and payments in a timely manner, meeting service and contractual obligations, while identifying and challenging anomalies in financial data.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders to gather required information and provide updates.
* Maintain accurate system data and supporting documentation to meet internal compliance and audit standards.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify system enhancements and resolve issues for continuous improvement.
Profile
* A successful Senior Finance Analyst should have:
* A strong background in accounting and financial analysis within the public sector.
* Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
