Working hours: 6 hours per week
Shift pattern: Flexible Monday - Saturday

We are looking to recruit a Cleaner at Kirkwall Salvation Army Corps (Church). The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy, and ready for use while always maintaining a safe working environment. You will be a keyholder. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential as lone working is involved in this post.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning of halls, offices, rooms, and entrance.
* Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floors.
* Cleaning kitchen areas.
* Ensuring that the external entrance is free from litter.
* Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished regularly and informing the Corps Officers of cleaning supplies needs in a timely manner
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
* Previous cleaning experience
* Be able to work alone and use initiative
* To have knowledge of Health & Safety
