 
        
        RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Accrington who are looking for a strong Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will be joining a team of 3 within the department.
Job Purpose:
The Accounts Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the finance and office teams, assisting with accounting duties to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
 * Bank and credit card reconciliations
 * Process staff expenses
 * Assist with month end journals
 * Manage the accounts inbox
 * Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
 * Order and manage office supplies, including stationery etc
 * Provide general office support as required
Person Specification:
 * Experience working in an SME environment is essential
 * Strong organisational and administrative skills
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Working Hours:
 * 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times
 * 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays
