Barclay Simpson is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager for a major banking organisation in Buckinghamshire. Working as part of the professional practices team and reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this position will play a key role in driving the ongoing improvement of the bank’s audit function. The role will involve designing and developing the audit methodology and working practices, as well as reviewing the work of the audit team and providing training and ongoing support to the department. The suitable candidate will be an experienced internal auditor, ideally with a background in the banking or financial services sector. In addition to this, the candidate should be a strong communicator with the ability to influence and maintain stakeholder relationships.
