A highly popular independent firm of highly skilled tax advisors are currently looking for a Senior Associate/Assistant Manager to join their Indirect Tax team. With offices located in Birmingham, the firm is currently experiencing growth due to their success and they are not planning on stopping any time soon! Work with an exciting variety of clients from different backgrounds and provide each one with equally personalised services regardless of how big or small they may be.
Your new role
As an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager/Manager you will be working with an exciting range of services including corporate restructuring and reorganisations, M&A, due diligence, and transactional advisory services. Your clients will come from all sorts of businesses like real estate, consumer business, and charities.
What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal candidate, you will already be CTA and/or ACA qualified and hold a minimum of 2 years' UK-based experience in Indirect Tax - candidates from both industry and practice backgrounds will be considered for this role. You should also possess a technical competence when it comes to both preparing and delivering VAT advisory & compliance. As an Assistant Manager/Manager you will thrive from working with others including both clients and your team and have an interest in assisting in the development of the junior staff.
