At Crown Paints, we are committed to innovation, collaboration, and making products people love. As a Product Manager, you’ll lead the development and launch of new products, coordinating closely with teams across our business. You'll be instrumental in our success, ensuring each product meets customer expectations and makes valuable contributions to our brand.
This role is hybrid, based at our Darwen, Lancashire office for 3 days each week, with flexibility to work remotely for 2 days.
* Product Development: Create and manage a clear product roadmap, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and our business vision.
* Market Insights: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pricing trends, and find opportunities for innovation.
* Launch Products: Coordinate new product launches from beginning to end, ensuring they are bold, profitable, and well-received in the market.
* Stay Ahead: Keep an eye on competitors, analysing their products and strategies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge.
* Collaboration: Act as a driving force in coordinating cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
* Track Success: Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure and improve product success.
Have You Got What We’re Looking For?
* Has experience managing product launches, ideally in a related sector (paint industry experience is beneficial but not crucial).
* Enjoys collaborating and excels at coordinating projects across diverse teams.
* Is analytical, with a talent for market research and turning insights into actionable strategies.
* Can plan strategically and effectively prioritise projects based on customer needs and business goals.
* Has great communication skills to clearly convey ideas and product vision.
* A background or interest in chemistry or materials science would be a plus, but it’s not essential.
