Weāre seeking a committed Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Banstead primary school. This is the perfect role for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education while making a genuine difference to childrenās lives.
What Weāre Looking For
1. A graduate in Psychology (or related field)
2. Previous child-related experience (nurseries, youth groups, tutoring, childcare, or similar)
3. A Teaching Assistant who is patient, empathetic, and keen to support childrenās academic and emotional development
4. Someone proactive, reliable, and ready to contribute to the school community
Key Responsibilities
5. Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils who need extra help
6. Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning interventions
7. Supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
8. Encouraging pupil confidence and resilience through positive reinforcement
9. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
