The vacancy

Are you passionate about counselling education and ready to inspire the next generation of professionals? DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Education Lecturer in Counselling to join our dynamic team at UCNL and UCD. You'll be delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes validated by the University of Hull, supporting students academically and contributing to the development of innovative teaching practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, where your expertise will help shape the future of counselling education in North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.

Actual Salary: £13, £17,375.50 per annum

Working Pattern: 15 hours per week (Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm)

Essential Criteria
* Degree in a relevant subject area
* Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
* Extensive experience in the field of counselling
* Strong commitment to quality assurance and enhancement
* Excellent organisation, analytical and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging teaching sessions across undergraduate and postgraduate counselling programmes
* Provide academic support and act as Academic Advocate for students
* Participate in curriculum planning, programme development, and quality assurance processes
* Contribute to promotional activities and student engagement initiatives
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including universities, exam boards, and professional organisations
