This role presents the opportunity to work with a dynamic and impactful team overseeing a large public sector estate in Swansea. As an M&E Clerk of Works, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of construction quality. This interim position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant project.
Your New Role
Oversee Site Construction: Monitor mechanical and electrical work carried out by the principal contractor and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and health and safety practices. Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous inspections, maintaining detailed records of work progress, measurements, and materials. Effective Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, addressing any issues promptly. Technical Expertise: Utilise your strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to maintain project integrity. This role is a 40 hour a week opportunity and will be office based 5 days a week.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven experience as an M&E Clerk of Works, ideally within the public sector or large-scale estates. You will need excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and not hesitate to challenge completed works if not delivered to your standards.
You will need effective communication skills to liaise with contractors and project teams.
