Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in South London from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people aged 4-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs. The school provides a highly supportive and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally through tailored learning experiences.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of individual learning needs.
* Create a structured and positive classroom environment that supports pupil development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff.
* Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews.
* Foster independence, communication skills, and positive relationships among pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism and complex learning needs.
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
* A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching.
* A commitment to promoting inclusion and achieving positive outcomes for every pupil.
