Project Manager Responsibilities:
* Manage established sites
* Review H&S paperwork
* Identify engineering discrepancies
* Plan and oversee projects
* Schedule project timelines
* Perform method statements and risk assessments
* Manage project administration and site documentation
* Meet budgetary goals
* Regularly report to senior management
* Track project performance
* Organise site resources (labour, materials, subcontractors)
* Ensure suitability of plant & machinery
* Oversee Supervisor and Foreman performance
* Coach and support new hires
* Organise employee training
* Ensure trained personnel for tasks
* Competent in closing out Health & Safety Files
Qualifications for Project Manager:
* HND/HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Essential CSCS Gold Card
* Essential SSSTS or SMSTS certification
* Preferable NRSWA certification
* Competency with MS Project
Project Manager Specification:
* Professional, self-motivated attitude
* Proficiency in contract documents and relationships
* Ability to teach and develop team members
* Strong Health and Safety leadership
* Effective time management and organisation
* Solid understanding of Engineering principles
* Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation
* Full clean driving licence
