Candidates should have clinical expertise in mental health nursing attained through relevant experience and knowledge. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, working with your own caseload under direction and supervision from the team leader. All aspects of the work will be underpinned by your theoretical knowledge and evidence base, along with demonstration of skills and qualities required to successfully provide person-centred recovery focused interventions within the community.
The team provides a service to adults experiencing a range of mental health problems. This includes severe and enduring as well as acute mental health needs. You will work with a varied MDT team including psychiatry, social work and occupational therapy.
The successful candidate will participate in the delivery of an assessment clinic as well as group-work. In addition to this you will be expected to manage your own caseload and provide supervision to other team members.
