Job Description We are seeking a Junior Automation Analyst to assist with requirements elicitation for projects and automations. This role involves gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements, supporting problem analysis during discovery phases, and providing recommendations for next steps. The analyst will help identify and analyse business processes to improve performance and assist Legal and General in enhancing process efficiency through automation. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the transformation of business processes, systems, and operating models by identifying automation opportunities and driving discovery and change initiatives across Legal & General Contributing to analysis planning and monitoring, including defining stakeholder roles, estimating analysis activities, planning interactions, developing requirements, ensuring traceability and prioritisation, and monitoring progress Proposing solutions aligned with business requirements, making recommendations to stakeholders based on cost, benefit, and risk considerations Raising and communicating risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to ensure appropriate mitigating actions Supporting analysis activities and deliver analysis artifacts for assignments (Discovery, Project, or Automation), including integrating new technologies, gathering and documenting requirements, and understanding current or future processes Ensuring fair treatment of colleagues, customers, and stakeholders in line with Legal & General’s principles on customer experience, strategy, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and other policies Designing digital customer journeys to be accessible, navigable, and informative, supporting customer understanding and decision-making Qualifications Who we’re looking for: A basic understanding of Business Analysis Techniques such as: Enterprise Analysis, Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring Requirements Analysis Elicitation Requirements Management & Communication Solution Assessment & Validation Basic knowledge of market process automation technology Understanding of agile and waterfall delivery approaches Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
