Job Title: Shift Technician/Electrical Engineer\nSalary: £41,224 (including shift allowance and on-call rates)\nShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 (early shift) & 14:00 - 22:00 (late shift)\nOn-Call/Overtime: On-call rota 1 week in 5 with additional payment for callouts\n\nRole Overview:\nJoin a dynamic team at a cutting-edge aerospace, defence, and security site, working alongside skilled engineers in a collaborative environment. As a Shift Technician/Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, and assisting with building fabric works. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the site’s high operational standards and improving plant efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Complete PPM and reactive tasks to high standards\n\n * Fault finding on building services plant and electrical systems\n\n * Assist with minor new works and system refurbishments\n\n * Coordinate sub-contractor activities\n\n * Participate in the on-call rota\n\n * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures\n\n * Manage work orders through CAFM system\n\n * Assist with project-based activities when required\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Apprentice-trained maintenance electrician\n\n * City and Guilds qualifications in Electrical Engineering\n\n * 18th Edition IEE Electrical Regulations\n\n * GCSE and A-Level education (desirable)\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\n * Experience in Facilities Management with a focus on PPM and reactive maintenance\n\n * Strong fault-finding skills and understanding of electrical systems and building services\n\n * Site-based role, so proximity to the aerospace, defence, and security site is ideal\n\n * No driving license required\n\nPerks:\n\n * Work at a prestigious aerospace, defence, and security site with a collaborative team\n\n * Opportunity for overtime and additional on-call payments\n\n * Great working environment with cutting-edge technology\n\nReady to take on a rewarding challenge?
