Pay rate : £28.18 basic with an addition of £6.39 per hour
Location: Hinkley point C, Bridgwater, Somerset

Role details:
Weekly Working Hours & OT
Monday to Thursday 18:30-06:00. 40 min break.
O/T at x1. first 9,5 hours worked, x 1,4 after 9,5 hours worked
*Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week*
Key Responsibilities :
1. Ensure that the work is carried out in the most productive and cost-effective manner
2. Ensure site / plant priorities are addressed in a timely manner
3. Maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety, Environmental Performance and Industrial Relations
4. Ensure good -degree communications with trade teams
5. Ensure performance and competency issues are highlighted / addressed
6. Assist with the application of the disciplinary process as required
7. Ensure development issues are highlighted
8. Ensure individual pro-activity within team members
9. Generate and maintain a culture of Continuous Improvement within team members
10. Supervise team members in an effective and professional manner
11. Ensure adherence to company / site procedures, work processes, drawings / specifications and work order
12. requirements
13. Ensure compliance to appropriate BS and EN standards
14. Support company / site initiatives as required
15. To ascertain job requirements from drawings and/or other specifications.
16. To examine faulty plant or machinery and to ascertain nature and location of defects.
17. To study plant or machinery drawings, technical manuals or other specifications.
18. To determine sequence and method of required operations.
19. To dismantle plant or machinery and remove damaged or worn parts.
20. To repair defective parts, obtain replacement parts or prepare new parts using hand and
21. machine tools.
22. To fit and assemble parts to rebuild plant or machinery.
23. To test plant or machinery for correct functioning and make necessary adjustments.
Key Requirements:
24. Level 3 Apprenticeship - Engineering Fitter Standard (ST)
25. Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Standard (ST)
26. Apprenticeship - Mechanical Craftsman
27. Diploma in:
- Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Mechanical Fitting
- Maintaining Engineering Construction Plant and Systems - Mechanical
- Engineering Construction Maintenance - Mechanical
28. Level 3 Diploma in Plant Maintenance (Mechanical)
29. ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TMF04 or TMF07
30. ACE Card
31. Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering
32. Advanced Level Engineering and Manufacture Apprenticeship
33. Level 3 Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance
34. Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance - Engineered Systems
35. Level 3 Diploma in Aircraft / Component Maintenance
