Senior Legal Counsel – Qatar
I’ve been instructed on an exciting opportunity for a UK / European-qualified Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading Qatari organisation. This strategic, hands-on in-house role will see you advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, overseeing legal due diligence, ensuring compliance, and helping shape the company’s legal strategy and governance framework.
You will lead on complex agreements, oversee legal risk, work with external counsel, and advise on property and IP matters. You’ll also shape legal policies, support internal teams, and drive departmental strategy, while managing a legal team and reporting to the General Counsel.
Requirements:
* UK / European-qualified lawyer with 10+ years’ experience (In-House preferred)
* Leadership experience is desirable
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and commercial advisory skills
* Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership
* English speaking
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
