The HR Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for optimising HR systems, processes and technology to support a high-performance culture. This role plays a critical part in enabling managers and employees to achieve business goals by ensuring efficient, compliant and user-friendly HR operations. As the HR lead for our HRIS system, Workday, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation in our people systems in close collaboration with Enterprise IT and external partners.

What You Will Do

* Identify current or missing processes which are inefficient and implement improvements using automation wherever possible and creating accurate process maps;
* Drive the optimisation of Workday to ensure it serves as the accurate and trusted source of all people data, while increasing adoption and effective use by both managers and employees;
* Look for opportunities to stop or reduce 'admin' and non-value add work whilst ensuring compliance;
* Manage the relationship and contract with the outsourced HR team in South Africa to ensure the highest standards of service are provided and work with them to identify ongoing improvements;
* Work with Finance and the HR Team to ensure accurate payroll information by the necessary deadlines;
* Develop a suite of reports from Workday including the necessary analysis and narrative to support meaningful decision making and demonstrate progress towards goals;
* Working with our brokers, manage the benefit renewals globally ensuring the best value for employees and Ocean infinity is implemented;
* Standardise processes across countries, where possible, and ensure compliance with current policies and processes across the business making recommendations for improvement where needed;
* Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and the overall employee experience with HR systems and processes;
* Identify areas with high volumes of queries or 'pain points' and look for proactive tech enabled solutions to reduce query volumes;
* Support any and all ESG initiatives with a particular focus on improving diversity in Ocean Infinity;
* Lead on or be part of HR projects that support business goals;
* Support change management and communication efforts related to HR systems and processes, being a role model for change within Ocean Infinity and supporting managers with the effective cascade of information and knowledge.

Who You Are

* Experienced leading remote HR Operations teams
* A Workday expert with deep, hands-on experience in configuration, optimisation, and reporting.
* Proven track record of delivering HR process improvements that reduce admin, increase efficiency, and enhance employee experience.
* Skilled in using data and reporting (Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to generate insights and support decision-making.
* Comfortable leading on automation and technology-enabled solutions, with a strong interest in innovation and AI.
* CIPD Associate Membership (or above).
* Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
* Integrity, credibility and maturity for confidential issues;
* Strong communication skills;
* Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.

Salary for this position:
Up to £70,000 per annum

: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
