Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Support Location: Wakefield (WF4) Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Are you enthusiastic about sport and keen to support students in developing their physical skills and confidence? GSL Education are working with schools in Wakefield (WF4) to appoint a reliable PE Support who can assist in delivering engaging and inclusive physical education sessions. As a Physical Education (PE) Support, you will work alongside teachers to help students participate safely and confidently in a range of activities. You will encourage teamwork, fitness, and a positive attitude towards physical wellbeing. Core Responsibilities: Assist with the delivery of PE lessons, supporting students across different activities. Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour. Help maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment. Support teachers with equipment preparation and lesson supervision. Provide feedback on student engagement and progress where required. Requirements: Previous experience supporting young people in sports or education. Confidence in supporting lessons independently as PE Support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
