The Role
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end administration of multiple client payrolls, working as part of a collaborative and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day client payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly frequencies
* Submit RTI filings on time and process year-end forms including P60s
* Complete manual payroll calculations when required
* Apply PAYE, NIC and statutory payments knowledge (SMP, SAP, SPP, SSP)
* Administer workplace pensions, including auto-enrolment and pension uploads
* Stay up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements
* Liaise proactively with HMRC and support technical queries
* Build strong internal and external working relationships
* Use initiative to identify and resolve payroll issues
Experience Required
* Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice
* Confident using payroll and accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent
* Solid understanding of payroll processing and compliance
