About the role
As a Care Assistant at HC‑One, you will support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents in our dementia, nursing and residential care homes. You will perform personal care duties such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and assist with daily activities around the home. You will also provide compassionate end‑of‑life support when needed.
Work is performed on a full‑time day or night shift schedule (2 day shifts and 1 night shift per week).
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, meals).
* Support residents with mobility and daily activities.
* Deliver compassionate care, recognising signs of physical or emotional distress.
* Safeguard residents by identifying potential abuse or neglect and reporting concerns in accordance with policy and training.
Qualifications & requirements
* Full right to work in the UK.
* Experience or willingness to undertake safeguarding training.
* Willingness to work full‑time day and night shifts.
