Job Type: Temp to Perm
Shifts: Position 1 – Monday – Friday 04:00am – 12:00pm
Position 2 – Monday – Friday 11:00am – 19:00pm
Must have supervisory experience and be flexible to cover holidays & sickness.
Siamo group are recruiting for a client of ours based in Measham. We are seeking 2 organised and proactive Transport Supervisors to oversee the daily transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, driver supervision, and compliance with all transport legislation. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced logistics environment and has strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations
* Manage driver schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations
* Monitor delivery performance and ensure KPIs are achieved
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and health & safety standards
* Conduct driver briefings, training, and performance reviews
* Investigate and resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer queries
* Maintain accurate transport records and reports
* Liaise with warehouse, customer service, and management teams
Requirements
* Previous experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of transport legislation and driver hours regulations
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to manage and motivate a team
* Good IT skills (transport management systems preferred)
* Strong communication skills
